Ajit Aserappa is a metalsmith and woodworker originally from Sri Lanka. He currently lives and works in Oregon’s wine country, near Portland.
Ajit’s work is primarily sculptural, ranging from small to medium scale, and explores the inherent qualities, textures, and character of the materials he works with. His pieces highlight the natural properties of metal and wood while balancing form, function, and craftsmanship.
Ajit also accepts commissions, creating one-of-a-kind pieces tailored to his clients’ ideas, spaces, and needs.
